High Level Downhill 2016

In the pothole-ridden paths of the Edmonton River valley the local community has come together year after year to put on the most intense head to head downhill longboard race. Joypulp co-sponsored the event along with Urban Diner, Hollow Point Bearings, and Local 124. Big thanks to Ian Brown for organizing!

2016 Joypulp IKO

It's almost skate season, and Joypulp has been busy over the winter prototyping the 2016 versions of our house decks. These decks will be available to order in the coming months, and will be pressed with a new layup style.

The final board we're debuting from our 2016 line is the IKO, a 37" freeride/downhill dropthrough deck featuring a fresh graphic from Edmonton artist and printmaker Chaisi Glover!

2016 Joypulp W.I.L.D

It's almost skate season, and Joypulp has been busy over the winter prototyping the 2016 versions of our house decks. These decks will be available to order in the coming months, and will be pressed with a new layup style we've developed.

Even more important, we've collaborated with several artists and graphic designers to refresh the faces of our boards. Over the next week we'll be showcasing these graphics right here on the Joypulp Blog.

Our first preview is the 2016 W.I.L.D. A 34" single-tail deck perfect for anything from campus cruising to light free-ride. The graphic is illustrated by New York-based artist Wellington Sun!

Iconic Longboard Videos That Encourage You To Get Up And Ride Off This St. Patrick's Day Hangover

Hangovers suck, they're annoying, pounding headaches that try to convince you that the fun you had last night was really just borrowed from this morning. But it doesn't have to be that way. Fun is not bound by a law of conservation like energy, and can in fact be created or destroyed at will.

Below are three of the most well-made longboard videos out on the web, created by three iconic longboard brands in their own right. Gulp down that Tylenol and enjoy these videos of people having fun while the pills take effect, then grab your board and head outside to create some extra fun for yourself instead of Netflix this hangover.
